MEDPRO-GERMANY supports international healthcare professionals with their recognition, licensing and successful integration into the German healthcare system. We develop tailormade programs for each healthcare professional group to help them get off to a successful start in Germany. For each program, we bring in experts from the relevant field to design the best possible programs.
The process of immigration of medical professionals from countries outside of the European Union to Germany presented certain challenges, which could be attributed to the complexity of bureaucratic procedures and cultural differences. The path to success in Germany was not without its difficulties, largely due to the time-consuming nature of the recognition procedure and the rigorous preparation for licensing examinations. Proficiency in the German language is undoubtedly an asset when it comes to recruiting doctors with a migrant background. The founders of MedPro have successfully navigated these challenges to achieve their professional goals and have become valuable contributors to German society. Dr. Philips Ogunleye is a renowned orthopaedic and trauma surgeon and a Biomedical Engineer, while Dr. rer. nat. Makafui Folikumah a scientific research fellow with interests in polymeric material synthesis and characterization, biomaterials for cancer research and optimization of electrode surfaces for green energy production.
